Education
Students in the computer science department receive a broad-based general education with a strong
foundation in mathematics. The program focuses on problem solving, analysis, design and implementation
of software systems. Students are required to take several advanced math and science courses to complement
the degree program.
The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program at
the Valdosta State University is accredited by the ABET
